I can't activate my tablet

If you can't activate your tablet before using it for the first time or after having restored it, there may be several causes of the problem.

Sometimes the activation may be blocked because of problems with your SIM.

Solution: Contact us to solve the problem.

If there's a general network problem in a certain area, it may be be due to a temporary network error.

Solution: Try activating your tablet later or when you're in another area. Check our Service Status Page for any scheduled or unexpected events, such as maintenance work or outages that may affect your Telstra services.

The network coverage may differ from area to area. In certain areas it may be so low that it's not possible to complete activation. Your surroundings could also cause signal interference.

Solution: Check our network coverage maps for coverage information and to confirm expected signal strength and speeds in your area.

To activate your tablet, the activation needs to be done correctly.

Solution: Activate your tablet

If your SIM is locked, press Unlock.
