Turn the back of your modem towards you.
Connect the power supply to the power plug and to a wall socket.
If you've set up a 4G/5G Home Internet service, the front LED will turn solid blue when your modem has established a connection to the 4G/5G network.
To use an NBN Connection Box, connect one end of the network cable (red connector) to the "WAN" port on your modem. Connect the other end of the network cable (yellow connector) to your NBN Connection Box.
To use a DSL connection, connect one end of the network cable (grey connector) to the "DSL" port on your modem and the other end directly to the wall phone socket.
To use an Opticomm or Satellite connection, scan the QR code on the enclosed "Quick Start Guide" or go to telstra.com/modem to find the relevant instructions.
When the front LED turns solid green, an internet connection has been established and your modem is ready for use.
Please note, that it may take at least 3 minutes before your modem is fully synchronised and activated.
Open an internet browser on your computer and go to 192.168.1.254
Click the field next to "Username" and key in the username for your modem. The default username is "admin".
You'll find the logon information at the bottom of your modem.
Click the field next to "Password" and key in the password for your modem.
Click User.
For security reasons, it's recommend that you change your modem's default password.
Click the field next to "Old Password" and key in the current password.
Click the field next to "New Password" and key in the required password.
Click the field next to "Confirm New Password" and key in the required password again.
